Why Is a Helicopter Tour the Most Beautiful Way to See the Himalayas ?

Nepal is a country that features various types of landscapes such as the highest Himalayan mountain in the world, lush valleys, rivers, and serene lakes. Even though walking around and visiting various sites is an exciting way to explore the country, taking part in the scenic himalayas helicopter tours in Nepal provides another way of viewing the country. By traveling around the mountains and valleys via Nepal helicopter tours, visitors have the opportunity to see some beautiful views that may not be easily accessible. The scenic Helicopter tours in the Himalayas offer various benefits, such as breathtaking views, access to remote locations, and a great way to visit Nepal.

Helicopter Tour

Besides the beauty, the Nepal mountain helicopter tour provides travelers an opportunity to explore the highest mountain in the world from above. During the Nepal helicopter tour, one is able to get an insight into the lifestyle of people living in the mountains with views of villages, monasteries, farmlands, and rivers. It doesn’t matter whether it is a private Nepal helicopter tour or a luxurious Trek with helicopter Return; what matters most is that the type of helicopter tours offered in Nepal is an interesting experience for everyone.

Awe-Inspiring Views of the Himalayan Mountains from Above

There are eight of the highest mountain peaks found in Nepal. Amongst those are Mount Everest, Annapurna and Kanchenjunga. When it comes to visiting such places, there is always an option of trekking which enables one to have closer interaction with nature. However, this may consume a lot of time and energy. Helicopter tours provide an opportunity for travelers to enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains from above through panoramic views.

Visiting the majestic mountains by helicopter provides awe-inspiring views of the breathtaking contrast created by snow covered peaks and steep valleys. For example, traveling to the Everest region via helicopter makes it possible to watch the tallest mountain peak of the world from above, something that would be impossible through trekking.

Accessing Remote and Hard to Reach Destinations

The most important benefit associated with helicopter tours lies in the fact that such tours enable one to reach inaccessible destinations which cannot be easily reached through any other means. There are many scenic areas in Nepal which are only accessible through treks, for instance the Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Upper Mustang and Manaslu Regions.

Additionally, you get a chance to view the life of the locals living in some of these remote areas during your helicopter tours. It is from the air that you will be able to observe some of the terraced farms, traditional houses, monasteries, and even the small villages that are situated within the valleys. This enables you to understand the culture of Nepal better as it is made up of many cultures and traditions.

In addition, helicopter tours offer visitors the chance to view unique sites of Nepalese culture from a bird’s eye view. Examples include cliff top monasteries, remote village settlements, and terraced farms. From the air, visitors gain an understanding of how the locals have learned to adapt to the mountainous region and integrate with nature through various methods.

Benefits of Safety and Comfort

Safety and comfort play a major role in helicopter tours offered in Nepal. The flights will be done by experienced pilots that are trained to conduct flights under mountainous environment. They use sophisticated and well-kept helicopters. There will be set rules that have to be adhered to and each flight will be planned for maximum safety and comfort of the passengers. Hence, it becomes a safe way of exploring the Himalayas.

Where travelers cannot go for extended walking or high altitude climbing, helicopter tours come in handy. Travellers will only have the comfort of sitting down and observing the scenery without any exertion. They are not subjected to any discomfort associated with trekking such as high altitude sickness.
