Everest Short Trek
Everest Short Trek provides a spectacular view of Everest and many impressive surrounding peaks. This short trek provides an opportunity to explore the local Sherpa people, their culture and customs. It also takes you through the varieties of landscapes they call home at comfortable elevations.
About 35-minute flight from Kathmandu will lift you to the Tenzing Hilary airport at Lukla (2,642m/8 668ft). Lukla is also familiar as the gateway to Everest base camp trek. From there, this 5 days Everest short trek follows the same trail of EBC (Everest Base Camp) for 3-4 hours through forest, farmland and Sherpa villages to Phakding at a lower altitude that will help acclimatization.
Next day, we proceed to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11 287ft). Namche Bazaar is also the tourist and administrative hub of this region. There will be marvellous views of Thamserku and Khumbila on the trail. We will spend two nights here by exploring the best highlights in the Khumbu region.
Afternoon walks near to the large Sherpa village of Khumjung for a unique and authentic experience of Sherpa traditional life in this unforgiving territory and also magnificent views of Kangtega, Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse. Retrace to Lukla for early morning flight to Kathmandu.
Day 01 : About 35 minutes flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,600m).
Day 02 : Trek to Namche (3,450m) .
Day 03 : Trek back to Lukla
Day 04 : Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Our driver will Pick up from the hotel to drop you off at the domestic airport. About 35 minutes flight to Lukla (2,700m).we start our trek to Phakding (2,600m) 4 hr.

After lunch about 30 minutes lovely walk to Everest View Hotel, the best viewpoint in the Everest area. View the beautiful scenery of Himalayas, including Mount Everest, with tea/coffee. Trek back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 03: About 7 hours From Namche trek back to Lukla.

Optional Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu(1,350m/4,428ft)
Arrival at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Meeting and assistance at the airport. You will be welcomed with Khada (Tibetan silk scarf) or flower garland outside the arrival terminal gate by our representative. You will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast in the morning, you will be Proceed for Kathmandu valley day tour to Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan Darbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu City. Afternoon, a tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the “city of beauty” is the oldest city in the valley. A great centre both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu

Day 03: Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding(2,651m/8,700ft): 35 minutes flight, 3 – 4 hours trek
We take an early morning flight to Lukla and meet our rest of the crew members in Lukla and start our trek. The trail then leads to Phakding via Cheplung village from where we get a magnificent view of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been summited. Day 04 : Breakfast -about 4 hrs trek to Namche (3,450m) .
After lunch about 30 minutes lovely walk to Everest View Hotel, the best view point in the Everest area. View the beautiful scenery of Himalayas, including Mount Everest, with tea/coffee. Trek back to the hotel and stay overnight

Day 05 : About 7 hours trek back to Lukla .

We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. We take you for a cultural dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Our driver will Transfer you to the airport to connect the international flight.
