Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is an amazing trekking trail of Nepal. This trek combines the remote and picturesque valley of Langtang. The trek also provides an opportunity to explore high mountains lake, Gosaikunda; the lake is populated by Sherpa and Tamang inhabitants in the North-West of Kathmandu Valley. This lake is also famous for its pure culture and religion with magnificent Himalayan views.

Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is one of the challenging trekking trails of Nepal. It offers an incredible and diverse journey along the Langtang valley and the holy lakes of Gosaikunda. This trail includes long, steep and descents climate, sub-alpine dense forest, majestic Himalayan views, glaciers, most popular lakes such as Gosaikunda (4,460m), Saraswatikunda and Ganesh Kunda and picturesque villages. Also, it includes a unique combination of culture, landscape, panoramic views of Langtang etc. This trail is famous among the trekkers without much time but likes to explore or observe Langtang Region Trek,. It is one of the best chance to get right in among the Himalayan peaks and to get off the beaten trail, walking along the some captivating remote and relatively underpopulated areas, unique culture, a lifestyle of local Tamang inhabitants.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m/4264ft)

A representative from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure  will be you outside the International Terminal Gate with your name and take you to your hotel for overnight in Kathmandu.  

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

you will be Proceed on day tour of Kathmandu valley in Some Of the World heritage Sites auch as  Pasupatinath Temple ,Boudhnath Stupa ,Patan Darbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu City. Afternoon, tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the “city of beauty” is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Sayabrubesis (1440m) 8 Hour driving

Early morning after having breakfast transfer your Bus station to start your journey towards Sayabrubesis, along the bus journey you will drive through beautiful village and you will see snow Scapped Mountain along the langtang Himalaya and it will make your trekking become pleasant and touch your heart.

Day 04: Trek from Sayasbru besi to Lama Hotel (2480m)

The trek become pleasant walk through tree where langur monkeys frolic, passing a bridge a small waterfall bhatties (village inns) beside the stream at Dovan(1680m) the trail then make steep uphill over rocky ridge to the easily missed junction, where the route from thulo sayasbru join from over. Long uphill forest past the waterfall and couples of lodge in pairo meaning of landside; 1800m to Bamboo a cluster hotel at 1930m. Beyond Bamboo the trail crosses Dangdung Khola then uphill to still suspension bridge over the langtang Khola. On the north bank of langtang Khola the route uphill alongside series of waterfalls and arrive in Changtang famous known as Lama Hotel (2480m).

Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang3430m)

The trail continues to follow the Langtang khola, uphill steeply through a forest of hemlocks, maples and Rhododendron, past isolated lodges at Gumanchok (riverside) and ghunama to the famous lunch time spot of Ghoratabela (2970m). There are great views of langtang lirung from here, which you can admire as the army checks post, where you need to register your langtang trek permit. From Ghoratabela the trail uphill more gradually through U-shaped glacier valley to the villages of thangshyap, Gompa and finally langtang (3430m). The national park headquarter is here, along with a cooperative bakery, a dozen lodges and so many yaks and overnight here.

Day 06: Trek from Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa (3860m)

Trek from Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa it takes only the morning walking through tiny villages to uphill Kyangjin Gompa (3860m) where you will see joyful Buddhist monasteries, several accommodations and two great cheese factories (May to December). It worthily to spending two full days here to gratefully to appreciate the mountains scenery over the langtang Himalaya .

Day 07: Acclimatization day in Kyangjin Gompa

From Kyangjin Gompa you can climb uphill to a viewpoint at 4300m on the glacier moraine to the north for superb views of langtang lirung. The most popular day kike to the Kyangjin RI viewpoint 4600m, while a tougher options is the climb to uphill Tsergo RI 4984m. Other popular long hike leads up the valley to the pastures around langshisa kharka for more spectacular mountains views of the Langtang.

Day 08 : Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel/Changtang (2480m)

The trail walk downhill to sayabrubesis via langtang, Ghoratabela on the same trail you will uphill before and trail follow the valley and connect the Gosaikunda Trek, take left branches at the junction just before Dovan and climb uphill to Thulo sayabrubesis. Overnight at here.

Day 09 : Trek from Lama Hotel/Changtang to Thulo sayasbru village (2260)

Early in the morning after breakfast trail slightly goes pairo landslide and leads you to Thulo Sayasbru (2,260m). Thulo Sayasbru is a beautiful Sherpa and Tamang village from where you can observe the miraculous vista of Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal and overnight here.

Day 10 : Trek from Thulo sayasbru to Sing Gompa (3250m)

Morning breakfast in Thulo sayasbru village the trail slightly goes uphill through beautiful rhododendron, Bamboo and pine trees. Along the trail you will past several mountains village to arrive Chandan Bari Sing Gompa and visit cheese factory in the langtang region of Nepal, where you will overnight today.

Day 11: Trek from Chandan Bari Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4360m)

After morning breakfast in Chandan Bari sing Gompa the trail slightly goes uphill to Gosaikunda via Lauribinayak. Along the trails past rhododendron and pine forest trees and vista of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Manaslu range, Hiunchuli and Tibetan peak is high lights of the adventure, you trek towards Gosaikunda (4,361m) and overnight here.

Day 12: Trek from Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa (3250m)

After morning quick trips around Gosaikunda lakes, breakfast and trek downhill to Sing Gompa via Lauribinayak. Along the trail past rhododendron and pine forest trees and vista of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Manaslu range, Hiunchuli and Tibetan peak and overnight here.

Day 13 : Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche (2090m) Morning breakfast in Chandan Bari Sing Gompa, trail directly drops you to downhill to Dhunche via small village of Ramche and other village along the route. Today your journey will be more enjoyable and beautiful, walking through rhododendron, pine trees and Himalayan Bamboo. Finally arrive in Dhunche and celebrate your last night accommodation with your adventure staff.

Day 14 : Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu 5 to 7 hours.

Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu. we will take you in the evening to celebrate farewell dinner with Nepali Family.

Travelling:

large backpack for your personal gear on the trek (carried by a porter), Bring a small combination padlock to secure the bag, Travel clothes. You will need casual clothing for air travel days and time spent in Kathmandu, Toiletry bag include toilet paper, soap, towel, toothbrush, etc.

Personal first aid kit:

Any personal medications, Diamox (optional) helps with acclimatization.

Each trekker should carry one backpack for items required during the day. Your day backpack will contain items such as warm clothes, jacket, camera, water bottles, and personal first aid kit and day snacks. The maximum weight allowance is 15 kgs/33 pounds
