Sailung Trek
Sailung Trek is one of the best treks to explore the culture, tradition, and socio-economic life of rural people. Sailung hill lies in the northeast part of the Kathmandu valley. In the Nepali language, ‘Sai’ means hundred and ‘Lung’ means the hills. Due to the presence of more than hundreds of hills in this area, people started saying this trek Sailung trekking. Sailung trekking reaches Thulo (high) Sailung at the height of 3,146m which is the best point to view long-range of snowcapped mountains, including Mt. Everest. Sailung trek starts from Dolakha (Lamche Pokhari) and ends at Panaunti via Namo Buddha.
Day 01 : Kathmandu Arrival. Day 02 : Kathmandu Valley city tours and preparation for Sailung trek. Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Mude trek to Lamche Ahal (2300m). Day 04 : Trek from Lamche Ahal to Khola Kharka via Thulo Sailung (3146m). Day 05 : Trek from Khola Kharka to Dhormba Gompa (2100m). Day 06 : Trek from Dhorma to Gurase Bhanjyang (2300m). Day 07 : Trek from Gurase Bhanjyang to Bholung Village (920m). Day 08 : Trek from Bholung Village (920m) to Chapkhore (1833m). Day 09 : Trek from Chapkhore to Kottimal (1960m). Day 10 : Trek from Kottimal (1960m) to Namo Buddha (1800m). Day 11 : Trek from Namo Buddha to Panauti then drive to Kathmandu. Day 12 : Final Departure

Day tour of Kathmandu city , after breakfast in the morning you will be Proceed on to Boudhanath Stupa , Pasupatinath Temple , Patan Darbar square and Swayambhunath Stupa. Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu City. Afternoon, tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the “city of beauty” is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu.
