Ghorepani Poonhill Short Trek
In Nepal’s Annapurna Region is a well – known hiking route. The hike is quite easy and straightforward, taking four to five days to complete. Some of the highest Himalayan peaks, such as Machhapuchre (Fishtail) 6,993 meters (22,943 feet), Nilgiri 7,061 meters (23,166 feet), Annapurna South 7,219 meters (23,684 feet), Annapurna I 8,091 meters (26,545 feet), Dhaulagiri 8,167 meters (26,795 feet), Tukuche Peak 6,920 meters (22,703 feet), Hiunchuli 6,441 meters (21,132 feet), Gangapurna 7,455 meters (24,457 feet), and so forth are visible during the trip through gorgeous woods, traditional communities, and terraced fields.
Poon Hill Trekking, a well-known viewpoint that provides breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, is the trek’s primary attraction. The views are particularly stunning at first light, when the first rays of sunlight dance across the snow-capped peaks, giving them a gorgeous golden tint.
Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri(approximately 2 hour) and Trek to Ghorepani (Duration:4 – 6 hours) 9.2 km / 5.7 miles
Day 2: Gorepani – Poon Hill (3210m/10531ft)around 45min hike – Tadapani (2660m/8727ft) – 11.50 km / 7.1 miles, 4 – 6 hours
Day 3: Tadapani – Ghandruk (1990 m/6529 ft) – 6.5 kilometers or 4 miles of walking in 3– 5 hours
Day 4: Drive from Ghandruk (820m/2690ft) – Pokhara (around 3 hour) Dinners

Get ready because we will be picking you up from your hotel at around 8:00 in the morning after breakfast. Along with your guide and porter, you will be driving. The trip follows the east bank of Bhurungdi Khola, offering views of a waterfall and tall, lush forest, while the stroll follows the Modi River upstream to Birethanti and continue drive to ulleri. Lunch will be provided at one of the tea shops along the route before arriving at Banthanti.
Day 2: Gorepani – Poon Hill (3210m/10531ft)around 45min hike – Tadapani (2660m/8727ft) – Walking distance: 11.50 km / 7.1 miles, duration: 4 – 6 hours
Poon Hill trek early in the morning. Poon Hill is a well-known spot to see the sun rise and set. A fantastic panoramic picture of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountains is also available. Photographers love Poon Hill viewpoint for its breathtaking views of the surrounding natural scenery, snow-capped mountains, sunrises and sunsets, and Pokhara Valley. Before you go back to Ghorepani, take some pictures and get some memories. After eating breakfast at Ghorepani, hike to Deurali, and finally arrive at Tadapani. Spend the night.
Day 3: Tadapani – Ghandruk (1990 m/6529 ft) – 6.5 kilometers or 4 miles of walking in 3– 5 hours
Stroll through the verdant forest as you descend to the trail leading to Ghandruk, the largest Gurung settlement village. Take a look around the charming village. Learn about the customs and way of life of the people by interacting with them. Feel gratified by their kind welcome. Savor the genuine cuisine and breathtaking scenery. Spend the night in a guesthouse in the area.
Day 4: Drive from Ghandruk (820m/2690ft) – Pokhara (around 3 hour)
We come to the end of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. Take a short drive back to Pokhara. Explore the local markets to buy souvenirs or do some shopping. Visit the lakeside area and if one wishes boating on Phewa Lake. Visit the Tal – Barahi temple. Enjoy the nightlife in Pokhara
