He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Tribhuvan University. Prem’s career began as a Front Desk Attendant at Hotel Thamel in Kathmandu, where he gained valuable business management skills. His passion for adventure tourism led him to transition into trekking, and after three years in the hotel industry, he became a professional trekking guide. With his growing reputation for trekking expertise and receiving numerous positive recommendations, Prem co-founded HSA alongside Bishnu Bhatta.
Prem has been deeply involved in promoting Nepal as an international trekking destination. His extensive experience allows him to offer well-planned trips at competitive prices while ensuring the best possible experience for travelers. He places great importance on client feedback to continuously improve HSA’s offerings. This includes sourcing the best transportation to remote areas and frequently visiting trekking lodges to ensure they meet HSA’s high standards for accommodation and hospitality.
In addition to his professional work, Prem has a strong social conscience. He actively contributes to the welfare of Nepalese communities, having volunteered for several non-profit organizations. Currently, he is focused on assisting earthquake victims by providing essential materials and equipment to help rebuild homes and schools damaged by the disaster.
