Kathmandu Chitwan Tour combines the Kathmandu valley tour and a relaxing jungle safari in the tropical environment of the Terai, Chitwan. Chitwan National Park lies on 148km south-west of Kathmandu. It is one of Nepal’s popular tourist destination and also known as the first national park in Nepal. Chitwan National Park can be reachable via Sauraha or Megauli. After the removal of all private resorts inside the park by the government, less number of tourists visit Megauli than Sauraha for Chitwan jungle safari. However, Megauli still owns some of the luxurious resorts and hotels. On the other hand, Sauraha became one of the most popular touristic towns in Nepal; and also offers several categories of the hotel resort and budget B&B. It is also the gateway to many popular trekking routes and some other village hikes.

Chitwan is also the best destination for backpackers and adventure seekers who are looking to experience jungle safari as a side trip after or before the trek in Nepal. Day 02 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

After breakfast our driver will take you to Pasupatinath Temple ,Boudhanath Stupa ,Patan Darbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa For day tour . Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu City. Tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the “city of beauty” is the oldest city in the valley. Day 03 : Kathmandu – Chitwan

After an early breakfast, drive to the Chitwan NationalPark (187km/5 hrs). Transfer to your hotel/jungle lodge. After lunch, commence on an Elephant back safari to view the games that inhabit in this park. This National park having 932 sq. kms is said to be one of the best in south Asia and famous for its population of the one horned Asian rhinoceros, several species of deer, monkeys, sloth bear, wild boar, spotted leopard, the Bengal tiger as well as other lesser mammals, birds and reptiles.
