Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara(6 – 8hr)

After breakfast, our guide will take you to the bus station near Thamel. You’ll embark on a picturesque drive from Kathmandu to the stunning city of Pokhara via the highway. The beautiful scenery on the way to Pokhara will make your trip wonderful. Stop over for lunch or coffee halfway. You will drive straight to your hotel by Taxi after getting off from the Bus and rest for the day. You can enjoy brief strolls to the lakeside vicinity close to your hotel in the evening. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Sikles and trek to Hugu Goth(2000m)

We will drive by a private jeep to Sikles, which takes roughly three hours, after breakfast in the morning. We shall begin our hike towards Hugu Goth after lunch in Sikles. Hugu Goth, which lies at a height of about 2000 meters, is perhaps a higher altitude town or a viewpoint along the walking path. You will experience the region’s rich natural and cultural heritage as you travel through picturesque forests, terraced fields, and medieval villages. All night.

Day 03: Hike from Hugu Goth to Kapuche Glacier Lake and trek to Nho-ta(3050m)

We will start our day with an early climb from Hugu Goth to Kapuche Lake, which is 2480 meters above sea level and provides breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayas and the glacier. Along the trip, you may come across native plants and animals as you progressively climb through alpine meadows and rocky terrain. When you get at Kapuche Glacier Lake, pause to appreciate the lake’s unspoiled splendor and the majestic peaks that are mirrored in its waters. It’s a calm location perfect for unwinding and taking in the Annapurna region’s natural beauty. We will then hike to the lovely rural village of Nho-ta. Day 04: Trek from Nho-ta to Kori Danda(3800m)

Today’s adventure starts in the quaint town of Nho-ta. Kori Danda is where the journey today will ultimately end. Hiking through woodlands teeming with vibrant flowers and taking in the sound of cascading waterfalls, you will begin your journey from the village. The trail is difficult because it progressively climbs with rough roads and steep inclines. After a strenuous hike, relax and take in the breathtaking views that Kori Danda has to offer. Do as much exploring as you can in the Kori Danda settlement. Overnight.

Day 05: Kori Exploration – Thulek(4115m)

You will embark on a hike in Kori today across the untamed Himalayan terrain. At 4115 meters, you will climb in the direction of Thulek Hill. You will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains once you reach the hill. Once you have finished exploring the hill, slowly make your way back to Kori village by following your previous route. Spend the night in Kori Danda.

Day 06: Trek from Kori Danda to Sikles(1981m)

You will begin in Kori Danda and make your way gradually down to Sikles. Trekking over a variety of scenery from Kori Danda to Sikles is a downhill experience. Along the route, you’ll see the Annapurna range as you go past villages, forests, and terraced farms. Local friendliness awaits you as you descend, and your journey comes to a close at the quaint village of Sikles.

Day 07: Drive to Pokhara and rest

We start driving after breakfast in the morning which takes us about 3 to 4 hours to from Sikles to Pokhara today. Explore Fewa Lake and the neighborhood market later in the evening.

Kori danda Trek Difficulty

Mardi Himal base camp(4,500 m) is the maximum elevation during the  Trek. This is a relatively easy trek and is not very difficult compared to the other trek in Annapurna and Everest base camp. Still, a good level of fitness requires walking for long hours daily. Prepare and plan well as this trek is easily doable.

Altitude Sickness and Preventions during the  Trek

Getting altitude sickness during the Mardi himal trek is very minimal as the highest elevation is at (4,500 m). For only a few hours, trekkers will be here, and getting altitude sickness is very low. But, still, precautions are necessary.

Some common Symptoms of altitude sickness are headache, nausea, and breathing issues. Inform your guides if you experience any symptoms during the trek.

  • Stretch and warm up before trekking.
