Ganesh Amgain

For the past fifteen years, Ganesh Amgain has been leading Trekkers through Nepal’s numerous  trails  of Himalayas. Having spent his childhood in the village of Bongkot, Gorkha, He has a profound understanding of the surrounding mountains and local way of life.

He has led numerous groups to various parts of the nation, including the Langtang, Everest, Annapurna, and Manaslu regions. Being certified and qualified, he is a experienced guide. NATHM, the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management, has trained him as a Trekking Guide. Additionally, he has finished a wilderness first-aid and eco-tourism training from KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Educational Project). Expert, kind, understanding, and considerate, he excels in leading senior citizen groups and families with young children.

Being sociable, he can handle both experienced and novice travelers. He is incredibly well-organized and capable of fixing problems. Mr. Amgain enjoys  nature hikes and exploring new locations. He escapes to the mountains whenever he has free time to relax.
