Prem Ale Magar

Prem Ale Magar is the Managing Director of HSA and has been in the tourism sector since 2000. He has a Bachelor Degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Tribhuvan University. Prem commenced his career as a Front Desk Attendant at the Hotel Thamel in Kathmandu, where he learned business management skills hands-on. His passion for adventure tourism led to trekking, and after working for three years in the hotel he started his new career as a professional trekking guide. Receiving lots of positive feedback and recommendations for his trekking expertise, he decided to start a tourism venture together with Bishnu Bhatta .

Prem has been intimately connected with the tourism sector, promoting Nepal as a trekker’s destination internationally. His experience enables him to provide well-planned trips at a reasonable price, handling all the arrangements to provide the best experience for travellers. He takes clients’ feedback seriously, to better improve the unique tourism experience HSA can offer. This includes finding the best transportation to remote areas and frequent visits to lodges along the trekking trail to check and identify the best accommodation and hospitality venues for HSA clients. Prem also has a keen social conscience and actively contributes to the betterment of Nepalese communities. He has gained valuable experience volunteering for various non-profit organisations. Currently, he is working for the re-establishment of earthquake victims to provide them with the necessary equipment and materials to rebuild homes and schools affected by the earthquake. His uncompromising commitment to provide quality service, promote responsible tourism and ecological awareness provides a platform for HSA to be the leader of adventure tourism in Nepal.
