Our Team, Bishnu Bhatta, a travel industry expert, believes that tourism is more than just a profession; it’s a passion. He holds a Business Management degree from Tribhuvan University and has completed the Trek Guide Training Program at the Hotel Management and Tourism Training Centre in Kathmandu. With over 10 years of diverse experience in Nepal’s tourism and travel industry, Bishnu is a seasoned professional.

Originally from the rural area of Gorkha, Bishnu grew up in Alkatar, a remote mountain village north-west of Kathmandu. As a child, he walked 8 km daily to attend school, often enjoying the stunning views of terraced farms, waterfalls, and the ever-present Himalayas. His career in tourism began in a reputable hotel in Pokhara, marking the start of his journey in the industry.

In 2015, Bishnu co-founded Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure (HSA) with three partners. The company was established to offer authentic travel experiences to adventure seekers, reflecting Bishnu’s commitment to the industry. His passion for tourism drives him to organize and coordinate unique adventures for clients and lead out-of-the-box experiences. Furthermore, he is dedicated to ensuring that HSA leads in sustainable tourism and community development.

HSA’s motto emphasizes the provision of high-quality services and unforgettable experiences, while prioritizing sustainability and the preservation of these experiences for future generations. Bishnu also focuses on providing career and educational opportunities for HSA staff, alongside initiatives that give back to Nepalese communities. Driven by the belief that “nothing is impossible if we dare to dream big,” Bishnu envisions his company reaching new heights in global tourism.
