Annapurna Base Camp with Mardi Himal Trek
The Mardi Himal Trek & Annapurna Base Camp Trek is an incredible adventure that combines two of the most scenic and iconic treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. By blending the less-traveled Mardi Himal Base Camp trek with the classic and more popular Annapurna Base Camp Trek, this itinerary offers the best of both worlds—spectacular views, diverse landscapes, and cultural immersion in traditional villages. This section of the trek takes you through dense forests, rhododendron groves, alpine meadows, and rocky ridgelines. The trail ascends gradually, offering different perspectives of the Annapurna Massif and Machapuchare (Fishtail) peaks as you climb higher.
The Mardi Himal Base Camp is a quieter, less-frequented destination, making it a hidden gem in the Annapurna region. From here, you get spectacular views of the Annapurna Massif, Machapuchare, and the surrounding snow-covered peaks. The trail to Mardi Himal Base Camp is more challenging than the Annapurna Base Camp trek, as it takes you into a remote and relatively undeveloped part of the Annapurna region.
